The nation of Exiom wants the quickest way towards immortality, and what better way to advance its race than experimenting with the young people of the poor.
Alistair is brought to the Cosmos Institute for Mutants at the age of twelve. For five long years, all he has looked forward to is the day he is dismissed from the horrid place... that is until he learns that no one ever has gotten out alive.
Alistair then teams up with six other mutants, and they take matters into their own hands. After escaping the institute, they upstage an uprising using the very powers the government has gifted them with.

She's forbidden from sharing her past, but her experience has led her to both fear and despise the New Society. After two years in the institution, she's auctioned off to a young billionaire. Noah Ivanov is withdrawn and mysterious, hiding a secret of his own. As things heat up between them, a shaky truth comes to light that forces them together.
