'He never sounds quite sane we he talks. It's like...' I smiled. Every piece of him just reminded me of home. Sometimes speaking to him even makes me feel remotely normal. Like our huge differences were merely non existent. 'It's like he's one of us.' 'But you do realize that despite all this...' my friend looked at me, obviously irked, with bewildered eyes, '....he's still a muggle. And very taken.' I frowned. She continued. 'Like super taken.' - When a young and restless witch decides to find peace in the muggle world, she finds herself in a position where she may or may not become a home-wrecker. But it's all good....but it really isn't.

"You know I'm not a man of many wise words Chloe Potter." Said the boy, who I have always thought as rather dim "and I don't care who you are, or who you're related to..." "Ugh, where exactly are you going with this?" I rolled my eyes, looking into the amber flames of the fire that set homely and warm light around the room. The way the light danced across the walls made it seem as though the two of us were not alone. "The same way we've been trying to go for about two years" He said "come on, you can't really be that blind can you?" I paused, no idea what an earth he was talking about. I didn't reply to him, I just sat there. Refusing to talk to him, to give into what he was saying. He caught on and continued, as though my response wouldn't have mattered anyway. "You don't see the way he looks at you." I scoffed and tore my eyes away from the fireplace "and how exactly does he look at me, may I ask?" There was a sickening silence falling around the room as he sat in deep thought for a while. He joined me on the sofa and stared into the flames I had found comfort in looking into only seconds before. It was a small while before he spoke again and the words lingered around my head for an even longer time. It may not have even been what he had said, or even whether it was the truth. It was just the simplicity of it that made me want to hear more. "Like you're a wild fire and he's just desperate to burn." ---- *I do not own the Harry Potter series. *All characters and story lines belong to J.K Rowling (Besides Chloe, who is my own character) *this is set in the 4th year.
