So here I am, stuck in my cat Dexter's body, when I'm actually supposed to be sipping on a margarita on a white sandy beach in Maui for my yearly vacation. Either way, I still get relax and I'm even starting to enjoy my life. That is, until I find out that I'm not the only person-gone-animal. If you go down to the woods today... Well, in this town, you probably won't come back. Unexplained deaths and disappearances are normal around here. In Haltonshaw Grove, we tell these real life horror stories to our kids like bedtime tales. They help us learn from a young age to stay out of the forest after dark. But one halloween, we didn't listen- Me and four boys. We broke the rules and we paid the price. We barely made it out alive and now we live with the trauma, the nightmares, the memories. Seven years later, the events of that night, like most things tend to do around here, have come back to haunt us. We never talked about the night we ran in the forest, never spoke afterwards at all really, but now we're going to need each other if we're going to survive what's coming. Me and those boys I've loved all along. - - ‐ - - - - - - - - - - - - - Our town is haunted. The five of us are cursed. And Halloween is just around the corner... The smooth life of a 19-year-old boy's life was going just fine until it goes into a different direction as a strange girl that is the same age as him, enters the young boy's life. This strange girl claims that he has been seen committing several crimes by a lot of eyewitnesses, but this person claims to know it was an imposter. An exact look-a-like, and offers a way out of what will undoubtedly be a very tricky situation. Sure of the truth in this situation, but somewhat distrustful of this strange girl, and the young boy hastily agrees to the proposal, it all feels very exciting, as if a big adventure was about to begin. But what if this strange girl is pulling a prank. Or what if this proposal is wrong or missing important details. How could an ordinary young guy like him end up in a situation like this? Time to find out for the better or for the worse himself. If this boy doesn't find out why he could end up in prison for years for something he doesn't ever even remember doing.
