From the moment you stepped into Germany, you knew you didn't belong. The stares, the whispers, the way people looked at you like you were less-it was everywhere. You were an outsider, an unwanted piece in a puzzle that had no space for you. Even when you found your father, the world around you didn't accept you. And yet, Ness did. He never looked at you like the others did. He never questioned your presence, never hesitated to stand by your side when others turned their backs. He was warmth in a place that had been nothing but cold, the only one who treated you like you mattered. But the world didn't like that. The first time someone called you a slur, Ness nearly broke their jaw. The first time you were pushed aside on the streets, he was the one who pulled you back, whispering, "They don't deserve to breathe the same air as you." The first time you were told you would never make it-never be enough-he was the one who laughed, his violet eyes dark with something unreadable. "They don't get to decide that. You belong wherever you want to be." You should've known then. You should've seen the warning signs in the way he clung to you, the way he hated the idea of you ever being alone again. But you didn't. And when you left Germany, you thought you had left him behind too. Years later, in Japan, the discrimination hadn't disappeared. It had just changed. Now, instead of strangers in a foreign country, it was the people around you. Players who saw you as an obstacle. Coaches who doubted you before they even saw you play. Teammates who smiled to your face but questioned your worth behind your back. You had learned to endure it. To fight back with skill, with determination, with the refusal to let them break you. But Ness? He wasn't interested in endurance.

Started~ Nov 12 2021 Finished~ Dystopia: an imagined state or society in which there is great suffering or injustice, typically one that is totalitarian or post-apocalyptic. "Do you love me, Cadet?" Why? That seemed to be a question you've been asking yourself a lot lately. Growing up in the underground was tough. You needed to fight for survival, food, money, and even-your freedom. Danny, you're despicable "father", had you stealing from him any chance he got. He was slick and manipulative. Having to steal valuables for him all while taking care of two kids, Kai and Mary, was really hard. The responsibility you held was weighing down on you, making you think more about them and less about you. You didn't mind though. Anything to stay away from the sinful place you call home. After a while of putting up with Danny though, you had you're last straw ripped away when he hurt you're beloved Mary. You ran away to start a new life, taking Mary with you. You become known as "Shade", a mysterious cloaked criminal known for your stealth and strength. You took pride in your reputation, and the best part was, nobody knew anything about you. From your face down to you're gender, it was all concealed. It was all cloaked. But all this changed once they found you. They took you in, capturing you to mold you into a soldier fighting for the survey corps. You despised the survey corps at first. After all, they stole you from your home. Took you away from the people you loved. They ruined your life, right? But... did they? You're stubbornness and skill capture the attention of a certain short black haired male. Corporal Levi was humanities strongest though, he couldn't like you, could he? He couldn't... At first it seemed strange but pleasant to finally get noticed, but soon you realized, nothing good came from the Corporal. In fact, your life seemed to turn into a living Dystopia. When I was little I never thought this would happen. I never thought I would be here but here I am with tattoo number on my arm. I can't escape, I can't see them again, I'm here, and nobody will save me or the people I am with. There are many of us, I can't even tell you how many people are here but I know it's past the thousand mark. We are here because of one thing, we are different. In their eyes different is bad. I guess it is, well it seems like it is but it's really not. See this one guy had this plan. This plan was to destroy a group of people who didn't believe in what he believed. He put it in people's mind that these people were not even human just animals and that we needed to be taught a lesson. Because we were different that was the problem. My name is Holly Amelia Cohen and this is my story. This story is now publish and you can buy it if you want (http://www.amazon.com/dp/1494393867/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_xP-Psb0ES7QX416T )
