Magic and knowledge itself is not a means to an end. Kiyan Natsuo, a traveling mercenary, is caught up in a new mysterious contract in protecting the daughter of a wealthy man only to realize that the contract itself had a darker side to it. A mysterious cult group had been plotting on kidnapping the daughter of the wealthy man. What could they possibly want with her? Why is she so important? What exactly are their motives? Through a multitude of investigation, all ties had been knotted in a particular area: Castellum Zreah, the pillared city and a land inhabited by the magus society. The area itself had been known to all yet was a secret itself. What could they possibly be plotting and what would happen if it was successful? The Kridershot, a bow crafted by the gods themselves was the key to achieving this. They had planned on plunging the world in darkness using the bow and the girl themselves in hopes to open a rift between the daemons and the human realm. Will Kiyan be able to realize their plots? Will Kiyan be able to stop them? Will he live through this ordeal? The Kridershot calls for a new hero, someone to stop this madness once more.
