Its been two years since the marauders have graduated. James and Lily are married with a baby on the way, and Sirius and Peter are very busy with the Order. Dumbledore offers him a position at the Hogwarts library as an assistant. There he can do research for the Order, as well as spend his moons like he did during his school years. Tessa Downing is a sixth year Hufflepuff. After a summer of chaos and hiding, she's having trouble transitioning back at school. Constantly worried about her muggle parents, Tessa's grades slip and she begins to spend more time at the library. Thankfully the new assistant is willing to help her. What would have changed if Severus had changed sides sooner? Would Lily forgive him, would her choices be different? How would James, Sirius and Remus play into her life with these changes? Had these things happened along with a chance at redemption and a lot of forgiveness the boy who lived story could have been a lot different.
