Valeria comes from a long line of werewolves hunters. Not just any hunters but the original ones. She was trained as one and became one of the best. The visions she had had since birth warning her of attacks helped her along. Then she lost everything. Her family, her friends and her reputation when she was bitten by an Alpha on a mission.
As her families code stated she tried to kill herself when she realized she would turn but was found by another wolf who saved her.
The beta took Valerie to her pack and taught her everything she needed to survive as a wolf. Then Valeria left them.
She went around the country, following her visions and trying to help people until these lead her to the little town of Beacon Hills. She befriends the newly turned and very confused Scott McCall and his peculiar and sarcastic friend Stiles Stilinsky and tries to help them figure out what is happening to Scott and their town.
