When Safrina was six, her parents were killed. In return, she killed the men who killed them, but with claws and fangs. Eleven years later she is living in and orphanage with her friend, Isaac. Safrina finds out Isaac is like her. That same day Evie comes to the orphanage, she is like Isaac and Safrina. What they all didn't know is they were in great danger. There are more powerful beings out there called the Hunters who were made to kill their kind. These three must find and stop these Hunters from wiping out their entire race. Will they be able to, or will the Hunters kill them first?

As if the thought of getting caught by Tate didn't scare her enough, what surely scared her was the thick silence in the air. When had the woods become so empty all of a sudden? She felt the hair on the back of her neck rise and her arms explode with goosebumps.
