I collapse onto my bed with a muffled thump. "Where were you when I needed you?" I ask to Katy quietly, staring up at my ceiling. She hovers over me, makes a face and rolls her eyes, "Being wherever I want to..." I lock eyes with her and I don't know why but this infuriated me and I lashed out. "Why can't you just take anything seriously? Why is everything a joke to you? Why is my life a joke to you?" I yell sitting up in my bed, and throwing my hands up in frustration. She looked taken aback and flustered. "Because your life is a joke. Why did you get to live? It's hilarious that you feel entitled to the life you stole from me. You have no idea what I go through all day. I'm not your mom and I shouldn't have to watch over you!" She screams back, slowly backing away from me. "I thought you cared...I thought we were friends." I say looking anywhere but at her. "Well you thought wrong." She says, shaking her head. I never saw her again after that but I knew she was still there. She couldn't have left even if she wanted to.All Rights Reserved
