2003, a bar burns down in a tragic accident, claiming the lives of 23. One of the worst in Toronto's history. And on that night, the bartender discovered something horrible moments before the bar came crashing down in a horrible fire. Desperate to reveal the truth, she came to Carl Reyson who was only a boy then, and has haunted him ever since. He ignored it until she finally managed to say something, and she began to speak to him and lead him down a dark path to discover a disturbing truth covered up by many.

It doesn't help that you felt some kind of force whispering to you to kill him in order to prove your love. So, you did. Strangely, the world seemed to be against him dying, because you found time kept repeating itself each time he died. You kept murdering him until a sudden epiphany dawned on you, as if you had broken away from the force controlling you. You were a character in a game-a villain who would always kill the protagonist. However, as if the developers knew you were no longer controllable, they replaced you so the boy you were obsessed with would still die and time would never move forward. Hence, you took it upon yourself to protect him. But why does the protagonist seem to be acting strange?
