Mai laneson is one of the only shadow beast hunters left, on middle earth her and the other two have a spell put on them that they can't grow old until they find some one to take there place. Mai finds her self traveling with the company of thirteen dwarfs, a wizard and a hobbit. She's a human but is short like a dwarf or hobbit and the eye of one dwarf. who? well you need to read to find out. Mai has long black hair that goes to the middle of her rib cage and pale grey eyes she has black rune marks all over her body and scars. Disclaimer i don't own most of the characters in this story. This is my first fic I always like feedback but please be nice and I've only seen the movies.

You all know Merry Brandybuck yes? There's another who you won't have heard of. Alora Headstrong is a young hobbit of the shire, Bywater to be more precise. She is the height of 3ft 6" and has short chocolate brown hair which is always curled perfectly. Her eyes are a deep blue/green colour and she is quite smart as you would say. Anyway, this is the story of how she find a new friend (Merry) while disobeying her father, over comes most of her fears and maybe, just maybe, finds the guy of her dreams. After meeting Merry 18 years prior, and then being forbidden from leaving the house on her own, Alora is given permission from her father to go to a party at the Green Dragon Inn. There she spots somebody who looks strangely familiar... After becoming friends, she soon finds herself falling for a guy. But two things stand in their way. Alora's Father and a bit of competition.
