Lucas' parents threw him away when he was a child. He was sent to an orphanage where a family adopted him. His new parents paid him no heed and always praised their original child rather than Lance. After a falling out with his mother, he runs away to Texas, a nearby state. He decides to crash at his newly found friend's place. During his stay, he ends up getting his new friend into trouble. His anxiety, depression comes crashing over him like a tsunami, and it'll only be a matter of time 'till he drowns.
