Meet Kaori Suzumi. Aka our main character. A Typical 16 year old girl. She goes to school, She has a family, and she has a small amount of friends. She doesn't like homework, she doesn't have neat book work, she isn't obsessed with anything. Her life is nothing but normal. To straighten it out, she is as mediocre as you and me can be.

Now meet Takashi Saitou. Aka A living failure, A outcast. He has failing grades, only one or two "friends". Gets bullied, gets laughed at for everything he does, his parents on the verge of falling apart, made fun of for trying to speak up, everyday once or twice you'd see him all beaten up by the sports shed. Let's just say, Takashi Saitou's life was a living hell.

One day, Kaori Suzumi happens to at the exact place where Takashi Saitou is getting the living daylights knocked out of him. Since Kaori was a brave girl, she decided to step in and break up the one-sided fight.
That day was the day Kaori Suzumi met Takashi Saitou.
