"What are you doing here!" I whispered as I crouched down beside him.
"I had to make sure you were okay." He told me while looking around making sure no one is near.
"Well obviously I am but you won't be. You know your not supposed to be here! The minute they see you they won't hesitate to put you up in flames.Your putting yourself in danger!" I said getting more worried by the minute. I understand that his intentions are good but they're not worth him dying, plus neither of us have gotten our skill yet so we wouldn't even be able to protect ourselves.
I looked up to see his ocean blue eyes staring back at mine, then he said 9 words that shocked me "For you that's a chance I'm willing to take."

Blade's eyes turned cold. Like a dark colored ocean that just froze. He took a frightening step forward so now his face was only inches from my face, even with his height, making my breath hitch in my throat. I could no longer breath. No longer see people repeatedly walking past my house. No longer hear those birds in the tree that were begging me to run. I could only see his dark blue eyes that held so much danger and anger. I could only hear his rapid breathing and even his fast heartbeat. I was just that dazed into his stare.... more like glare. "Is there someone else?" he said so low no one could hear but me. And I heard him. So clearly. I heard the threat telling me to say yes for he can make whoever the competition is disappear. I heard the anger he held behind his low tone. I heard the jealousy beyond anything. That was what clouded over everything. "N-no," I stuttered. I'm angry to admit I was scared. How he towered over me didn't make it any better. Standing proudly at maybe a 6'4 or 6'5. While I stood at a 5'5. He scanned my face trying to look for any sign of me lying. And when he backed up I knew he couldn't find one because what I said was indeed true. To be honest there was only him. And it seems like that is what it will always be. How The Bad Boy Found True Love.
I watched him watch me as he was about to press his fist into the big red button that read "Emergency Fire!". I was unable to form words because, I thought about how hot he looked as he stared back at me with such intensity. It just intrigued me. I finally snapped out of my trance, but not because I'd came to my senses, but because I felt a cold sensation running down my body. I blinked about three times before it finally registered that he'd pressed the button and now water was spilling from the roof, and some students were laughing and playing. My breath hitched in my throat as he came closer. "You really should've worn a more, I don't know, a thicker shirt or bra. "Who's there," I can't breath. I'm always looking over my shoulder ever since- I can't think about the now. I have to run but where, back to Jake? No I can't, everything is different now. I reach out to touch him only for him to be yanked just out of my reach. I hear the wolves in the distance howling at the beautiful moon. I need his touch again. I need to know I'm safe. The only safe place anymore is pressed against him under the sheets. "Coal!" I call out again. ---I can hear her. She's here somewhere I know it. I can smell her sent threw the thick of the woods. "Sapphire!" I call out, but my call is lost in the night. I have to protect her. I have to save one, just one. Maybe that will be enough to clean the blood off my tainted skin. What if they get her? "You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. I guess I didn't put it in my bag... I looked up to thank him, but ended up not being able to find my voice. He's really attractive. Drop dead gorgeous attractive. Hot. He has brown hair that is spiked up in a messy way and shiny chocolate brown eyes that are hard not to stare at. His jawline was firm and he is extremely tall compared to my 5'3" height; he seems like he's 6'1". He looks in good shape -- the white shirt he was wearing showed off his broad muscular chest. He wore a leather-mans jacket from the school over the t-shirt, with black denim jeans, and converse. I swallowed. I snapped out of it and took the paper forcing myself to say "thanks." However, he walked away before I even finished. OK... he obviously isn't interested in the 'new girl' like all the other students are. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. Out of all the guys that have hit on me in school today he is the only one that has caught my eye -- bad news is that he didn't even bother. "You know him? The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" He continues to shake his head. I fold my arms, leaning back in my seat. "Yeah, it's definitely sticking. Teddy.....It has a nice ring to it, yeah?" I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me.
