"' Zenda, I would really appreciate if you would join me for dinner tonight, I'll have a car waiting for you outside this building or if u want outside your apartment' He said in his deep don't-mes- me-with-me voice. I stand and walk around the desk separating us, lean in and tell him who is boss even if my heart is racing like crazy. ' I am not the same zenda you dated 2 years ago, I have a company to run and a life to live and I am pretty sure that you have at least 10 men outside and 3 cars downstairs, outside my building but guess what, I am not afraid anymore, remember you used to tell me that you know me better than anyone, well then you know that I don't make the same mistakes again so please leave already'. Even though I was dead scared I managed to pull off a poker expression. I knew it wasn't gonna make a change because Alec wasn't one of those people who give up and deep down somewhere there was a part of me who wanted him to force me to have dinner with him but years and years of practice enabled that part to be silent but having him here was provoking that part. 'Ha' he smirked ' I see you have changed and I guess I like this new you but...' and suddenly he was on top of me and I was down on the desk with him just an inch away from me. I gasped ' But, you're my Zenda and I want to have dinner with you tonight and you and I both know that no matter what you've accomplished or whatever you do, WE ARE HAVING DINNER TONIGHT'. He glared at me." Zenda Mellark is everything you ever want to be in life. Rich, successful but she is broken inside out. Alec Anderson is the perfection you crave in life but there's a darkness inside him. Join in on the story of two people who hate to love each other. 'This is my first book but I'll try to make you fall in love with to the best of my capability. Editing is still in process so don't mind any mistakes and yes, don't forget to vote and comment.'
