Every night, eleven-year-old Mira hears something behind her cupboard doors.
Her mother says it's just fear.
The house says otherwise.
As thunder rips through the sky and the doors slowly open, Mira learns the truth too late-
the thing in the dark isn't a monster.
It's what the house was built to hide.
