My eyes are shut closed. It's almost as if I'm afraid to open them. Afraid of what might be on the other side of the darkness. I sit up quickly and regret it immediately. There's a sharp pain that shoots through my whole body. I open my eyes slowly and see a blur. I blink a couple of times and to my relief, my vision is back to normal. But not today, it was so dark, all I could see was a suffocating darkness around me. Aria my wolf huffed in annoyance when even she couldn't see a thing or couldn't pick up a scent around us. 'Ophelia, what's happening?' she muttered. 'I don't know' I whispered back aloud. The words had barely left my mouth when I heard something running quickly in our direction. I ran, not knowing what direction I was going. I tripped over something and fell flat on my face. Feeling a presence behind me I screamed and tried to crawl away...
