My eyes are shut closed. It's almost as if I'm afraid to open them. Afraid of what might be on the other side of the darkness. I sit up quickly and regret it immediately. There's a sharp pain that shoots through my whole body. I open my eyes slowly and see a blur. I blink a couple of times and to my relief, my vision is back to normal.
I'm sitting on damp, frosty grass and it looks like I'm in the middle of a forest. The raindrops fall slowly down my face and the wind is just touching my bare arm. A gust of wind crawls down my spine and sends a shiver through the rest of my body.
I don't know who I am, if I have a family or if I have a home. I don't know anything really, but I know for sure that I'm lost.

This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else.
