Rumors were never to be followed.
Tony Stark failed. He knew he did, he should have listened. Now he lost his daughter and his best friend. He has to face the world on his own, has to try and keep America running for Steve. But he can't.
"Extremis, the thing I have. I don't know if this will work, but I have to try."He injected the virius into the crook of Mason's dead arm. "I can try."
Later he left, eyes burning from rubbing them so often. He told the kid to not go inthere, that he will come back.

Which is a shame, because if he did he would have saw the bright red virus mice through the body, would have felt the heat emmiting from her.
Would have saw her eye lashes moving, living.
Would have saw the first step Mason has taken to become a true legend. He woukd have witnessed how she later woke, and how she manged to save everyone she cared about.
He would have saved her a hell of a lot of time.
*Guys, trust me on this. Trust me, okay, I know what I'm doing, there is a hell of lot more then I'm explaining in here but I'm not writing the book in the summary*.

This book doesn't line up with the Marvel Universe, the past, present and future don't all line up, I've changed things a bit for how I want them to be. ... I open my eyes and immediately close them again, bright lights shine down on me. I think back to why I'm in this situation, why I'm laying on a table with the smell of disinfectant in the air. ⏪ I was getting everyone out of a building at the centre of the Skylea attack, there was a trapped boy, I had to save him. When I found him my attention drifted to a window, out of it I saw something heading straight for us, so I grabbed him and ran down the stairs as fast as I could. When we were nearly to the front door it crashed into us, the building started collapsing, I told him to run. I tried to get out but I heard creaking, stupidly I turned around, a metal rod from I don't know where impaled me, I was trapped. The bloodloss and the fact that I hit my head on the floor wasn't doing me any favours. I tried to stay awake, I did, I focused solely on Tasha's voice. Clint was coming for me, but I feared he'd be too late, I could hear him trying to get to me but I felt myself fall unconscious. ⏩ I didn't think I'd wake up.Completa

The effects weren't exactly the same obviously but they did the same job of giving the victims unnatural abilities. On my run I started to think more about the accident as tears streamed down my face and my feet started to feel like they were on fire since my body wanted to just give out and sulk. My mother chose to leave me, my father tried to leave me. What is it about me that repels people?
