"Mason Stark, Iron Avenger, and Steve Rogers, Captain America, were recently assinated earlier this week."
Rumors were never to be followed.
Tony Stark failed. He knew he did, he should have listened. Now he lost his daughter and his best friend. He has to face the world on his own, has to try and keep America running for Steve. But he can't.
"Extremis, the thing I have. I don't know if this will work, but I have to try."He injected the virius into the crook of Mason's dead arm. "I can try."
Later he left, eyes burning from rubbing them so often. He told the kid to not go inthere, that he will come back.

Which is a shame, because if he did he would have saw the bright red virus mice through the body, would have felt the heat emmiting from her.
Would have saw her eye lashes moving, living.
Would have saw the first step Mason has taken to become a true legend. He woukd have witnessed how she later woke, and how she manged to save everyone she cared about.
He would have saved her a hell of a lot of time.
*Guys, trust me on this. Trust me, okay, I know what I'm doing, there is a hell of lot more then I'm explaining in here but I'm not writing the book in the summary*.

Everything seemed to be fine, until it wasn't. The machine malfunctioned and the gamma rays went out of control. Not only did my dad get hit but so did I. The effects weren't exactly the same obviously but they did the same job of giving the victims unnatural abilities. On my run I started to think more about the accident as tears streamed down my face and my feet started to feel like they were on fire since my body wanted to just give out and sulk. My mother chose to leave me, my father tried to leave me. What is it about me that repels people?
