He was sweating profoundly when he finally got up that morning. Today was the day he would again open those doors. They had been locked way to long. However his insecurity gave him little hope that he would be accepted into these people's hearts. He would try to open up to them but deep down he knew no-one could ever love someone like him. Little did he know that the one person that could accept and cherish someone like him was on his way to those doors while he was thinking that very thought .
Charlie Hadrian Bucket was in the beat mood ever he just turned 17 and won a trip to the chocolate factory not just any chocolate factory either Willy Wonka's factory! He felt like he was bursting at the seems. Just another hour till he would meet his idol. Little did he know that the chocolate master would need him more than anyone could imagine.

When Charlie gets away from his drug dealing father and is sent to live with his grandparents, things aren't suddenly okay. Charlie's broken. He's not sure he ever wasn't broken. When things get unbearable, the only thing that helps Charlie feel grounded is music. What can he do when he runs out of batteries for his old walkman? At school crowds of people gather to watch Travis perform, but when he goes home his only company is his cat. He escaped his abusive parents, but now he lives with his older brother who is usually away working. Will the strange, quiet boy he finds sitting on his porch trying to listen in on his music put an end to his loneliness?
