It's been five years since the year of hell, as Zayn would call it. Five years since Zayn and Liam were forced to live a year without each other, five years since Zayn was diagnosed with Paranoid Schizophrenia and five years of Liam trying to recover from the mental and emotional abuse of being held hostage for ten months. 
  You'd believe that after five years they'd be able to live a normal life, with Zayn receiving treatment and Liam having weekly sessions with a therapist, that they would be able to be happy and worry free as they wish they could be.
  Sadly, what they went through wasn't something someone can get over as quickly as one getting over the fact that they didn't get the last slice of pizza or that they no longer have ice cream in the freezer. No, things were much harder for them both than they expected it to be, but together they'll get through it.
  Except, neither one will admit to their significant other that they aren't okay. They keep it a secret from each other, and that isn't helping.

It's been years since the five most well known men have been together. Ever since their split, they have been doing their own thing and they have been doing a great job doing so. Everyone slowly came to the conclusion and accepted that they may be done for good. Just because of how happy they were with the paths that they were taking. However, that was not the case. Sure, they were really happy doing their own thing, but they have always thought about getting back together. They have had a hard time figuring out the timing of everything, but there was something else that was holding them back. Simon. Him and management have been demanding them to get back together, and even though they really want to and even though they can see so much going for them if they did this, they just knew that they couldn't. Because Louis, Harry, Liam, and Zayn have been in the closet for way too long and it was about time for them to come out.
