Aqua is a four year old SeaWing living during the SandWing Succession. She tries to act like a normal SeaWing, but with animus magic and a fiery spirit, life isn't easy, especially with her father away at war, stationed in the SandWing Kingdom. When Queen Coral starts to recruit new warriors, Aqua joins with little hesitation. Only then does she learn that war can take much, and give little. Will Aqua survive the war, or die trying?

Eight has lived semi-contentedly for years. All she has ever wanted is to find a way she can obtain happiness while fulfilling her duties as a Worker of the AntWing Colony. So far, that plan has been going swimmingly. Which is to say horrible, because as a dragon who's never even seen the sun (let alone a body of water), Eight can't swim. When her section of Workers reaches maturity they are tasked with a new job: one Eight does not agree with. They have to sire a new generation of Workers for the Colony. She and her best friend devise a plan to escape, but that also backfires - this time, more literally than figuratively... --- Even though this story is rated Mature, it is only for the occasional fight scenes which include enough blood and gore to showcase the reality of fighting. There is also implied+referenced non-con due to the structure of one of the tribes' military society. Nothing happens on-screen. Also dragon racism (it's promoted by the military as propaganda to make their soldiers think of their enemies as less than). I bonk character responsible very thoroughly in the sequel! Magic, Visions, Betrayal
The story depicts two perspectives, both from different side of this tribe rivalry. Princess Cerise of the Skywings was originally blind from an Icewing accident at the Skywing Wingery. After her Kingdom had been terrorized by Seawings, especially the Seawing animus Marine, everything changed off course. The Skywings forged an alliance with the Sandwings after Dawn had cured Cerise's eyes, but nobody knew that Dawn had put a spell on the Skywing tribe to worship her and the tribe. Princess Hurricane of the Seawings was a secret animus of the Seawing tribe. She loved her sister Marine, and was desperate to guide her sister to the right choices and paths once realizing that her dear sibling was losing her soul one by one, turning colder. When the Skywings attacked her royal family during a gathering, Hurricane was dragged into a final battle, revealing her magic, and making choices to save the day, and her life. Color: A light cyan (almost like Albatross') light grey underbelly, pitch white luminescent scales. Ocean blue eyes, tip of tail and legs are a fade from a darkish cyan to light. Age (Human years): 15 Occupation: Princess / Animus Accessories: 2 pearl white rings on her horns, pearl white armband with certain gems (skyfire.. etc). Description: Aqua is clever, stubborn and smart, she can defend for herself just fine and is rude to certain dragons, unlike some royal dragonets that want everything and all the attention, she is way different, she hates being at home in the palace, she likes exploring and being on her own, the forest is her second home, she has a secret den at the top of a mountain with a rushing waterfall beside it, she usually goes there to get away from home and River, the SeaWing she's supposed to get married to, but she doesn't even like him, he's obsessed with her and thinks he can't make any mistakes with her. .: Silver'Tear :. Tribe: NightWings (Non Hybrid) Color: Pitch black with shades of grey on his underscales, silver scale next to his grey eyes. Some light shades of silver on him. Age (Human years): 17 Occupation: Assassin Description: Silver is stubborn, rude, and doesn't open much about himself. He's a professional assassin and does most killing in the dark, he's a mix of a Bounty Hunter and assassin, he'll kill his target but won't accept money from it. He can be soft and kind at times but those are mainly only to people he trusts, he wears 2 silver horn rings and they have an unknown power. Not much is known about him, but when most dragons ask who/how someone died they usually know their answer.. Silver is very powerful and had lots of suspicions about Aqua in the story, but never addressed them out loud. -♤★ kyliieComplete

This book is a little outdated and will be getting a rewrite soon! ------------------ Fighting, dragons were always fighting in the Rainforest. Not physically, but verbally. The Rainforest Kingdom was being torn apart by its residents. The RainWing's and NightWing's. Queen Dandelion and King Palmtree are doing nothing to calm down their tribe, so, someone else has to. Lavender is an seven year old dragonet who belongs to both tribes. She's a hybrid, born from her RainWing mother and NightWing father. Her life is wonderful, at least in her family and small village close to the edge of the Rainforest. But, she's starting to notice the change within everyone, as if they know something is coming, something bad. Lavender wants to keep her kingdom safe, just like all dragons do, but she also wants to keep everyone connected and stop them from being torn apart. Will she be able to fix the ties that brought the RainWing's and NightWing's together? Or will they be split apart and she'll be stuck between torn sides. ------------------------ The Wings of Fire series is written by Tui T. Sutherland and this is just a fan-fiction based off of her series. No characters within this book are from the cannon books and it doesn't follow the cannon timeline.
