The world seemed to stop in that moment. His heart dropped to the bottom of his chest and the color drained from his features as he recognized the grin playing on her lips. Looking back into her eyes, he saw her mother, "I'm your daughter." The young girl smiled, bouncing on her toes a bit as she looked up at the long-haired man standing in the doorway.

"You've made a mistake, kid." He hummed quickly, an uncomfortable grunt escaping his lips as his heart raced in his chest, "I don't have a daughter."All Rights Reserved
