I was running out of time, and time was running out of me.

Toadfrost, a Windclan tom, is not the usual everyday deputy you know. He is much different, and that is because of a promise.

A promise to his leader that if he couldn't save her, he would die. He would die at the sunset on the next day.

And what happens when promises are broken? What happens to those who don't fulfill the oaths they make?

Well, Toadfrost may not know, but he's sure that it's something bad.
