As sad as it may be, we live in a world where the rich are getting richer, and the poor live in worse conditions every day. A world where people have to live behind masks and hide who they truly are, just to be accepted into this corrupted society. A world where everyone primarily thinks of himself and not about what he could to help his brother in need? Dive into my vision, be bold enough to read these chapters, and accept that you may have also been committing these mistakes that corrupt our society and together, let us grow into better versions of ourselves and begin to wonder; what if this had happened to me? How would I have reacted? What can I do to change my community? What if I decide to manifest my dreams every day instead of wishing they would happen? Every single part of this will be entirely unique but all interconnected by one subject, "the human nature". Assalamualaikum My Dear Brothers and Sisters of Islam!!! Daw'ah, is to call, request, encourage people to Islam. Now since we're all moderately teens who are shy when it comes to the whole introducing of Islam to others and all, why not take advantage of what we are all good at? Technology!!! This wonderful site, gives us the opportunity to create and post our own writing. I got to thinking, "Hey, while we're at it, why not create an on line book about Islam?" Many of our peers don't understand many of the things that we do, the way we dress, the things we eat, they don't really get why we do it. They're to shy to ask out in the open, so they'll always have that word nagging at the back of their heads going "why." So I have decided to create this book, so that we can inshAllah explain Islam in our own way. Notice that I said "WE". Yep, I am not solely gonna take on this task, I am human and I will mistakes, so feel fee to correct anything I write, contribute and I'll publish it along with the rest of this book also. Evolution
There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. Always remember someone is waiting for you to walk into their life. Someone needs you. Someone loves you. Getting away from all of the wrong people and finding the right ones could save you. I can promise you right now that it saved me. These are the journal entries and selected poems from my first experience of love that left a unpleasant taste in my mouth- quite literally.
