A young girl named Athena was orphaned at a young age. She later met Armin, Eren, and Mikasa. At this time, Wall Maria has been breached and titans are swarming into the city of Shingashina. Athena and the other three escape, but not without witnessing the death of Carla, Eren's mother. They later join the scouts only to realize that she and Eren have a secret that could save humanity.
