❅ One girl. One boy. One gigantic snowstorm. ❅

In which Rosie Whittaker gets stuck with Sam Kingsley under the same roof, all the while enduring (and surviving) one of the biggest blizzards that has ever swept the East Coast.

Will friendships blossom and new opportunities arise? Can they tolerate each other's polar (pun intended) opposite personalities to live under the same, snow-clad roof?

That question is debatable. However, their survival just might depend on it.

But Rosie just might have to survive Sam first.

(FAIR WARNING: this book has some clichés, but clichés are clichés for a reason, right?)

Extended Description:

Rosie Whittaker is an introverted 17-year-old teenager who's nose is usually stuck in a book of some sort. She isn't big about parties, boys, or high school drama. Weirdly enough, she even works at a book store and plays the cello. She has plans for her future, and wants to be able to finish high school without any problems.

Until Sam Kingsley arrives at her bookstore, bloody and bruised, as a snow storm just begins outside the window.

Sam Kingsley can be usually found either smoking a cigarette on school property or in the middle of a fist fight. His attractive looks clash with his uninviting demeanor and dark past. He doesn't have friends, and doesn't want any. Notorious for his glares and history of violence, you wouldn't want to get on his bad side.

Read more on Surviving Sam to know just exactly how these two will work together to fight and survive the biggest blizzard to ever hit the Northeast.

"Your hair is full of snow," He chuckled as he looked at her, reaching out to push a strand of hair behind her ear. Some snow successfully fell off her, but he didn't withdraw his hand. He cupped her cheek, wiping away a few snowflakes from it. She was frozen, staring at him like a deer caught in headlights, her heart pounding in her chest. Then, raising his other hand, he cupped her cheeks fully. His eyes began to trace every inch of her face; her eyes, her cheeks, her nose, before his gaze dropped to her lips. Her heart skipped a beat as she tried to keep herself together. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Seventeen-year-old Valentina Barron doesn't have the most ideal home life. "For him, she was adrenaline." . . . Winter McHalen seemed to have everything: parents who owned a multi-billion dollar company, two handsome brothers who just happened to get the loving-brothers genes, and a ridiculously beautiful look. One summer afternoon, however, a six-year-old Winter was kidnapped by her father's former rival and was traumatised into being mute. Ten years later, the current sixteen-year-old Winter still struggled to come to terms with her dark past. When she crossed path with the mysterious Rohan Garrison: heir to neighbouring international corporation, student council president, and a perfect gentleman who seemed to be harbouring much more secrets behind his stoic facade; the two kept finding themselves tumbling into each other's lives - with or without their own wills. He was aloof yet affable, she was bold yet reserved; he was neither a protector nor predator, she was neither a badass nor damsel-in-distress; but they were two qualities - both coexisting at the same time and were unpredictable variables in each other's lives. And they both didn't know whether to like or despise it. Watch Winter as she journeyed into adulthood and tried to get back the voice which she lost. With both existing as naturally opposing forces, could Rohan - with the help of her family, friends, and possibly other love interests - save Winter from her past, or will she be trapped forever in her affliction? {Highest: #1 in Young Adult #1 in General Fiction #5 in New Adult #226 in Teen Fiction 28/12/2019} *images used are not mine

She's a wild, free spirit who sees the good in everyone, and he's the hardened, bad-tempered loner who wants nothing to do with her-yet no matter how hard he tries to push her away, she's the one temptation he can't escape. *** He's never met someone with such a bubbly personality. Not to mention the wildness and odd phrases she says every five minutes. He hates it. He hates how he can't stay away from it. He hates what she does to him; it's not like him to chase after some girl. She gets under his skin like no other. She's never met someone with such a bad attitude. He's ill-mannered and menacing. The glare never seems to leave his face. Considering it all, she can't help but feel the attraction toward him. Dangerous attraction toward a seemingly dangerous man. Maybe it's the tattoos on his arm that gets her attention. Or maybe it's because she can tell there's hope for good under his rough exterior. And she's about to find it, whether he likes it or not. It's no secret that the two of them are complete and total opposites. *** "You like being called Sugar, don't you?" I tease, placing my toothbrush back after finishing. He does the same and gives me a side-eyed scowl. He grips my chin harshly and kisses me. My body temperature raises a good ten degrees and my right leg goes all wiggly. He pulls away. "You like it when I kiss you, don't you?" He teases the same way I did to him and I'm left blubbering. "I think both of our questions are rhetorical," I lower my voice up at him. His lip curls up into a smirk. *** #1 in Young Adult #9 in Badboy #1 in Cold #3 in Goodgirl #1 in Sweetheart #14 in Love *** *Warning* This story contains mature themes (language, scenes)

She looks up at me, taking a step forward and smiling slightly, "How can I ever get hurt when I have you here to protect me?" "But you could have gotten hurt," I murmur softly, hanging my head and feeling my shoulders drop, the tension seeping from my body. "No. Stop," She cuts me off sternly but tenderly, "Don't talk like that, Reece. I'm okay, you're okay, we're okay," She speaks softly, reaching her hand up to gently brush her thumb over my cheek, just under the cut that's there. "We're okay," I repeat, taking a small step closer to her. She nods with a small smile, moving her hand down from my cheek and instead placing the palm of her hand on my chest, right over my heart. I know she can feel how fast my heart is beating. I just don't know why it's doing that. ~ Reece Carter is the bad boy of Northwood High. He smokes and he fights.
