It has been three years since the malevolent dark last appeared. Though Earth has prepared for the inevitable arrival of darkness for all this time, the outcome remains uncertain.
Daniel Walker has taken up the mantle of responsibility in stopping this supernatural force. Thus he and his remarkable band of humans, Lightwardens, Darkbringers and powerful beings of long lost worlds, All of them having story that binds them to the cycle, come together to end the cycle of extinction once and for all.
However, as the universe darkens around them, they find that their task may prove harder than initially thought. As the cycle enters its final stages, new eldritch horrors awaken, the roots of the cycle begin showing themselves and things that were once thought impossible become a reality. Ahead of them is a challenge like none they've ever seen. And as they set upon their great adventure, the mysteries of the past unravel.
