Zombie Apocalypse.

Its 2052, the world has gone to shit and so has half of its population. Dust circles the dead bodies that remain from the disease. Millions have been plagued and are set on devouring those who cross them. Houses and buildings crumble and only a few survivor's trod on the broken ground of what is left of the planet.

Rose Mayer, an 18 year old girl finds herself surrounded by this desecration of what was once the Earth. Her parents are gone. Her house destroyed like the rest. With limited knowledge of survival and skills to survive how will Rose live for herself? Her only hope is the Safe Lands. They provide warmth and shelter. An island off the coast of California with food and many other humans inhabiting it.
Rose's only chance is to get to the island. Shell even kill if she has to.

Ryder Daniels, 19, only knows what his father taught him. AS a child he was taught to shoot and defend himself, his father a known and respected captain in the army, lost when Ryder was 15. Ryder sets out on his own journey looking for somewhere to protect himself and his sister. A life. A place where they'll be safe. And maybe some hot chicks too.
