In a closed circle in high society, those who attend the prestigious Sesmayne Secondary are virtually untouchable. They have wealthy families, powerful connections and biting wits, yet despite all this, its students grapple with their own individual darkness.

Amrin, undoubtedly one of Sesmayne's top students in every way possible, battles with overwhelming misery and rancour towards herself, only managing through long days and nights with her loved ones hoisting her up. However, when she loses one of the pillars supporting her, Amrin's world is rattled, and pain tightens its ever choking grip on her.

As she is dragged deeper and deeper into the depths of agony, accidental deaths re-emerge as cold blooded murders, and Amrin finds herself tumbling even more into Sesmayne's underworld.
