Carmen had found life slowly become deteriorating. She had known her lifespan would been longer than most but she hadn't expected it to be this long. Her 30 year old body was actually 92 but it would never look like it.
Life had become a burden, another side affect of the serum. Something she didn't want but had. She was just there in the center of it all wishing it would just suddenly slip away. She had things to live for but she couldn't feel. She didn't feel sad, angry, happy, old. She just felt numb.
It isn't until his unexpected return sparks an emotion and suddenly they all crash inside of her like a flood.

The two rarely see each other but when they do it's filled with soft singing and dancing, broken hearts, and a jealous filled Bucky. But at the end of the day they find hope, in a train, as 'death' awaits one of them. But prior to all that, prior to when the problems truly begin, it starts with three teen best friends, Steven 'Steve' Rogers, James 'Bucky' Barnes, and Carmen Ripley, all living Brooklyn. Their friendship began with a football landing in swim loving teen, Carmen. And slowly their story moves to three adult best friends facing the problems of Earth. Problems none of them truly were expecting.
