*Fanfiction sequel to Katrin Hollister's The Rune Mage*

It had been months after the Battle of Benover. Seiren Nithercott and her twin sister Madeleine Harred had become full fledged state mage's. The time had come for the excecution of Kristen Harred for her crimes against Karma. Seiren has mixed feelings about her mother's excecution and even more so that there has been more threats from the sister country of Hanna. Home of the demon summoner's.

Another plot of secrecy and Dark magic is brewing. And this time Seiren and Madeleine are dropped right in the middle of it. It's another call to arms as the state mage's might have to consider the one thing they hoped to have avoided with Hanna. An all out war between countries.
