"if it means nothing, then kiss me. Right here, right now," he breathed heavily.
he was close, too close but not close enough.
"Kiss me," he said again, his voice somehow commanding and pleading.
my heart pounded in my ears. I was sure he could hear it.
"Mars," he pleaded "I just need to know."
"Sirius," I began.
"If you kiss me and honestly feel nothing, it can all be over. I promise."
I reached up, standing on tip-toe, bringing his face close to mine, I searched his eyes for a moment, then closed my eyes and kissed him.
