People are born with a band on their arm that tells when they'll meet their soul mate. Most people are happy with this, except for the fact that all the pairings are heterosexual. What people don't know is that this has been set up by the government, which is largely homophobic. LGBT people are too scared to speak up about their unhappiness with this system until word gets out that the government created this to silence other sexualities. Meg, a seventeen year old lesbian forms an alliance with the other LGBT people in the community. The alliance is going to the GC (the government's main headquarters) to overthrow the leader and his advisors and put an end to the system created to silence the LGBT community.
