This story will be following 2 characters.. Alex and Eve. Their ancestors were from a small island. on this particular island strange things happened. the natives (named abnormals") had special powers such as telekinesis and shape shifting. their hair was all white but changed in color based off of mood. nobody knows what allows the "abnormals" to activate these powers but it is how it has always been.

The people were forced to flee their homes because the volcano that formed most of the island erupted causing their home to be unfit to live in.

The abnormals landed their boats in america. expecting kindness they were treated with anger and hatred. the abnormals were unable to find work or food but somehow they survived to pass on new generations.

Both Alex and Eve are college age Abnormals just trying to get through school while also keeping their powers in check.
