This is a Keith/red paladin x my OC Kieo story. Not a reader insert. just wanted to make that clear. This is kinda based off of Lance's and Keith's bonding moment in the show. But I am changing it up to make it more interesting and more... feelzy. But yeah... I'm gonna make it so my OC, Kieo, and Keith do end up together. There will be cussing and references to hurting self and depression.

(What if Lance had frozen and couldn't ask Allura out on a date in Season 8, Episode 1? Instead, Lance realizes his feelings for Keith and asks him out on a date. Lance, Pidge, and Hunk are employed by the Garrison, Shiro leads missions off world, Allura and Coran are establishing a new world for the Alteans who'd survived, and the Blade don't need him. Keith works in a coffee shop and gets by the best he can, on the little money he earns. This story is loosely based on the paladins of Voltron. I have not watched all the seasons and have changed the backstory of some characters. I do not own any of the characters in this story, and I do not own any of the artwork. There is smut, swearing, talk of rape, and self-harm in the story. I will not be putting disclaimers at the beginning of the chapters, so if you don't want to read it, move on to another story.
