"It would have been better if she had never been born..."

Every earnest sailor knows the lore: a woman aboard a ship brings ill luck to the whole voyage. But one woman's peril begins a miraculous journey; rather than drowning, she is reborn anew, taking on powerful new abilities and features to adapt to life among the Sirens of the deep. Rejected by those above the surface, these women roam the seas, exercising their terrible new power--the power of the Heartsong--to bend every creature to their will, and lure the hapless sailors to their deaths.

Until the day a new Siren encounters a song she cannot sing, and a victim who will not succumb.

AN ADOPTED WORK The little mermaid has been reborn. In his previous life, he trusted the wrong person, was sold as merchandise, and suffered a miserable fate. But in his new life, on the night he was drugged and almost met his end, he struggled to escape and ended up in the arms of a man. "Please save me..." Those beautiful eyes were filled with mist, the corners of his eyes were alluring, and his soft voice was full of pitiful pleading. The man, however, had a dark and brooding expression and stared at him for a long time. Only when the little mermaid was almost rendered helpless due to the effects of the drug did he finally say: "Alright." It is said that the blood of sea monsters can heal psychological trauma. So, the ruthless and stormy Marshal, who had been battered by mental storms, brought a little mermaid home. Everyone thought the little mermaid's fate was to have his blood drained and his body discarded in the wilderness. But later, someone saw... In the pouring rain, the Marshal held an umbrella by the car and bent slightly. No one knew what he said to the person inside, but they saw the half-opened car window being rolled down, and a fair little hand reached out and fiercely pinched the Marshal's ear, as if venting frustration. However, the Marshal, known for his cruelty and ruthlessness in the Empire's star domain, just smiled and then leaned down to give the person in the car a kiss. Very few people knew that the song of a mermaid was the true remedy for healing psychological trauma. In his previous life, the Marshal was the only one who extended a helping hand to the little mermaid. So, in this new life, he must ensure that the little mermaid avoids the predetermined path of death. This time, the entire universe is helping me to be with you. *In both lifetimes, they only have each other, and the little mermaid is reborn. *Our couple is destined to be together! *Definitely sweet, trust me, bookmarking this will not be a bad idea!
