Luna: Artificial Mind

Luna is a normal girl, leading an ordinary life, until one day she hears on the news that a new planet has been discovered, called 'Three'. The Planet is habitable for humans and NASA is to choose 40 people from each state, to travel to and colonize it.

To her surprise and abject horror, Luna is chosen to go to Three, along with her boyfriend Chris. And it's not an offer she is allowed to turn down. Together, they travel to the NASA's training base where she meets and befriends Samantha. None of them are aware that the clock is ticking as far as the survival of Earth is concerned.

In desperation, Luna breaks into the director's office at NASA and steals an A.I. chip. She hopes that this will halt the mission to Three and that she will be able to stay on Earth, but the chip plants itself into her brain and slowly begins to take over.

And when she eventually arrives on Three, despite the planet's great beauty, Luna discovers that there are dark secrets that it holds, which are slowly but inexorably coming to the surface.
