Ryan was your average high school junior. She was looking at colleges, hoping to become a nurse. All she ever wanted was to help people. Then, the night before her 17th birthday, her father died in a car accident right outside her home.
Depression took its hold on her and refused to let go. She started to hurt herself in any way she could. That was until Ashton happened.
Ashton didn't know Ryan. He was just a volunteer at the hospital Ryan was held at. He was told to go check on but to be careful with what he said if she was awake, she was a cutter and suicidal.
Looking into the room he saw a beautiful girl. Blonde hair, blue eyes, tan, tall. She was up and moving. But that's when he felt it.
Could Ashton even save her from her own demons? Was Ryan even worth saving though?
