In this story, Princess Luna is faced with her inner demons, but she only has the will to suppress them for so long. Princess Celestia suspects something is happening with her dear sister, yet she can't figure it out. Whenever she asks Luna, Luna can't speak due to a curse. However as Celestia questions Luna, Luna's inner demons grow stronger.
She ends up entering her inner self and attempts to fight it, but when she loses, all hell breaks loose and this time the elements can't stop this enemy, because as Luna loses. The elements of harmony are destroyed due to an ancient and forgotten power that Luna's inner demon knows about. It is left up to a single alicorn to fight off this terrifying antagonist. Will this be the end of Equestria as we know it, or will the single alicorn sate the disaster?

This will also be a Cozy Glow reformation fanfic. Excerpt: Meanwhile, In Canterlot, Twilight, Cadence, Flurry Heart and Celestia stood on the four corners of a complicated circular design illustrated on the floor of the throne room. Each was sweating, the magical auras around their horns beaming brightly. In the center of the magic circle, the auras wove into a rainbow beam. Through the open skylight in the room, the beam shot out, facing the moon directly. Luna was standing on the side, looking up at the moon in hope. A rainbow sphere at the tip of the beam was coming closer and closer. It was slowly lowered into the throne room until the entire floor was just a ball of light. At once, the auras disappeared and the four alicorns stepped back. The light gradually died down to reveal a purple figure with large dark horns, curled up on the floor, clutching a silver hourglass. The picture of Rachel on the cover belongs to GihhBloonde on DeviantArt. I don't own any illustrations I use in this story. Many ideas I use are actually theories by youtuber Sawtooth Waves. Edit: Oh my god, I finished! I worked so hard to create characters and a plot that seemed real and as a 12-year-old first-time author I think I did such a good job. Long ago, in the Land of Equestria, two Royal sisters ruled with peace and harmony. The elder used her Unicorn magic to raise the sun, and bring about the day. The younger used her magic to raise the moon, and bring the night. Thus, peace and harmony reigned for years. However, the younger sister became resentful, as ponies relished and played in the daytime her sister brought, but shunned and slept through her beautiful night. Then one day, the younger sister refused to lower moon to make way for the dawn. As such, the hatred in her heart turned her into a wicked mare of darkness: Nightmare Moon. Left with no choice, the elder sister called upon the most powerful relics in all of ponydom: the Elements of Harmony. Using the power of the Elements of Harmony, the elder sister defeated Nightmare Moon, banishing and sealing her in the moon. Afterwards, the elder sister took the responsibility of both the sun and moon, and peace and harmony has reigned ever since... or has it? What if there were an organization deep in the shadows who had not only WORKED in the night the younger sister brought, but committed crimes? That's EXACTLY what had happened, but the two sisters didn't know it until it was too late. However, thanks to the work of the EUP Guard, which had been formed to protect the elder sister, this group had been stopped. However, what if they came back? Meet Gold Shield, a Unicorn colt who lost his parents, and was abandoned by his other family members. He was your average colt, nothing special, but he had a knack for spotting trouble. That's what caused him to save a young Twilight Sparkle as she was studying for a test. Yet, he didn't stop there. He went on to CONTINUE helping her by studying with her until she got every spell down, even going as far as to show her a concentration technique. However, what if he were to notice a pattern in the attacks, and even thwart one during Twilight's test? What if it lead to him discovering his special talent?
My Little Pony: A New Generation of Friendship
A few years after the events of 'The Ending of the End', Twilight Sparkle, now crowned the new ruler of Equestria, faces a rather simple, but boring, lifestyle as a queen. Even when she was the princess of friendship, she has sort of missed all the good times she had with her old friends. Yet, despite this, some questions still linger on: Who is she? What will Equestria be like as a result of her actions? What will become of everyone else? It's there Twilight and Spike traverse to the future and finds that her teachings on friendship and harmony have been replaced with paranoia and mistrust, as the three pony kinds - Earth ponies, pegasi and unicorns - live separated from one another. It will now be up to Twilight, along with the help of some new friends, to try and solve this problem and bring ponies back together again. Note: The following is a fanfic loosely based off of MLP G5 (specifically MLP: A New Generation), but with Twilight Sparkle (because there was a severe lack of her appearance (not counting the hologram scene)). However, due to the Changeling invasion during the royal wedding, the negative energies it produced also frees Discord from his stone prison, who also decides that Earth should be his new playground. Meanwhile the Autobots continue to defend Earth from Megatron, and his Decepticons; ignorant that a new player is about to release chaos upon the world. And Megatron is not about to let another would-be conqueror steal his prize. Equestria also has it's problems when Queen Chrysalis returns to Canterlot, bent on usurping Celestia and Luna. Twilight Sparkle and her friends travel to the Crystal Empire for her first princess summit. Twilight feels both nervous and excited about the event and is self-conscious about wearing her crown. However, her friends are supportive as always. When they meet with the other princesses, Celestia notices how tired Twilight and her friends look after their journey and sends all eight of them off to bed. Later that night, a cloaked unicorn sneaks into the castle and steals Twilight's crown. The next morning, Princess Celestia identifies the thief as Sunset Shimmer, her former student. The princesses explain that the mirror from which Sunset Shimmer escaped is a gateway to an alternate world and task Twilight with going into this other world to retrieve her crown. Little does she know, she will encounter her friends once again. What adventures await Twilight in this alternate world?
