In this story, Princess Luna is faced with her inner demons, but she only has the will to suppress them for so long. Princess Celestia suspects something is happening with her dear sister, yet she can't figure it out. Whenever she asks Luna, Luna can't speak due to a curse. However as Celestia questions Luna, Luna's inner demons grow stronger.
She ends up entering her inner self and attempts to fight it, but when she loses, all hell breaks loose and this time the elements can't stop this enemy, because as Luna loses. The elements of harmony are destroyed due to an ancient and forgotten power that Luna's inner demon knows about. It is left up to a single alicorn to fight off this terrifying antagonist. Will this be the end of Equestria as we know it, or will the single alicorn sate the disaster?

It should have been the happiest day of her life. Despite all odds, Twilight passed the entrance exam to Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. Not only that, but she also got asked to be the Princess's personal protege. And if that wasn't already amazing enough, she even got her cutie mark! So why wasn't the filly prancing around in circles shouting "Yes, Yes, Yes" over and over again? Being the victim of an uncontrolled surge did not only grant her enough magic to give life to a dragon but apparently also made it possible for her to get glimpses of her future, showing her a destiny she really does not care for. So, knowing where her current path would lead her, there is really no sensible alternative than throwing everything away and changing her destiny to one she can agree to, setting her up for a life of intrigue and adventure, uncovering the many mysteries surrounding her and a certain pegasus, to find out who they really are. Unfortunately, in doing so, she ruins the carefully laid out plans a certain Princess of the Sun had drawn up. Rachel is the daughter of Grogar and Nightmare Moon. She wishes for nothing more than to be reunited with Nightmare. But what lengths will she go to to achieve her goal? And where should she look for her real friends? And when the statue of Queen Chrysalis, Tirek, and Cozy Glow is stolen from Canterlot Gardens, Luster Dawn comes into the story. This will also be a Cozy Glow reformation fanfic. Excerpt: Meanwhile, In Canterlot, Twilight, Cadence, Flurry Heart and Celestia stood on the four corners of a complicated circular design illustrated on the floor of the throne room. Each was sweating, the magical auras around their horns beaming brightly. In the center of the magic circle, the auras wove into a rainbow beam. Through the open skylight in the room, the beam shot out, facing the moon directly. Luna was standing on the side, looking up at the moon in hope. A rainbow sphere at the tip of the beam was coming closer and closer. It was slowly lowered into the throne room until the entire floor was just a ball of light. At once, the auras disappeared and the four alicorns stepped back. The light gradually died down to reveal a purple figure with large dark horns, curled up on the floor, clutching a silver hourglass. The picture of Rachel on the cover belongs to GihhBloonde on DeviantArt. I don't own any illustrations I use in this story. Many ideas I use are actually theories by youtuber Sawtooth Waves. Edit: Oh my god, I finished! I worked so hard to create characters and a plot that seemed real and as a 12-year-old first-time author I think I did such a good job.
