Ansley Cove is a town built on secrets and governed by lies. It has flourished for years praying on the weak and sweeping all the evidence away under the rug. People play their roles like puppets on a string and others blissfully live in ignorance until someone dies. Then the new question on everyone's mind is... who is truly innocent ? I am writing this story as I go, so I apologies if it takes me some time to post. I will do my best to be reliable from now on. I have recently decided to make my chapters shorter and more to the point. I have a habit of dragging things out. Sorry! Even though I started off writing in everyone's perspective, I will mostly be writing from Monique's point of view from now on. It's just easier that way. Sometimes I will jump between characters and I will usually have it listed if that's the case. It is slow at first but the story will certainly pick up after chapter 8 so bare with me lol. This is my first serious story so please, go easy on me. Hopefully you all will like it. Enjoy!

"Sweetheart wake up. You're at the hospital." I looked up and saw the same woman hovering over me. "Oh...okay." I opened my eyes fully and noticed that I was already in the hospital bed. Why on earth did she have to wake me? "So why am I here?" I asked confused. "Well," she said pulling a short and skinny woman into the room. "This very sweet lady saw you on the side of the road and called 9-1-1." I looked up at her and she threw me an evil look. In a way, she seemed strongly familiar. I looked away slowly diving my eyes back into the direction of the nurse. "Before we leave you, I just wanted to let you know that my name is Julia. You can call me whatever works best for you. Julia, Nurse, Nurse Julia. Whatever. I'll be right back with your papers." Sixteen-year-old Abigail Moore, also referred to as Ginger by her boyfriend Cameron Wood, has lived a terrible sixteen years. She grew up with her drug-addict mother who didn't care enough to properly raise her, and she's stuck living alone for a good amount of her teenage years. Once Abigail's mother got put in jail for suspected murder of Abigail's older sister, Julia, Abigail is forced to live with her aunt. Abigail and her aunt get along very well, and she grows up safe and in no harm. Although her life and goals seem set straight and simple to her, her mother and others are always watching, just waiting in Abigail's shadows for the perfect time to strike, and take their next victim in the creepy and deathly darkness of Brett Creek in Colombia Falls, Maine. Abigail's developed amnesia from her horrible past makes it hard for her to live, but the people she fears most in life, make it easier to find the pieces that are missing to complete the puzzle. ******************************************* Also, please vote this for the 2018 Watty's!! ;)
