While the ending does leave off on a bit of a cliffhanger, that's where I intended the story to end. As of right now, I don't have any plans to make a second book. If Disney ever decides to make an Encanto 2 (which, honestly I kind of hope they don't because I really loved how the movie ended 😭), then I might consider continuing this story depending on what happens.
