THIS IS JUST A TASTER STORY.*

You have been running from them for a week now, you're lucky to survive that long most people don't. The vampires were fast but you were faster and you have seemed to outsmarted them along with your friend Derek. You know too much about their world and too little about how much danger you are actually in; they are fast and hunt only to kill. But now they have gathered an army to capture you can you escape? Will they catch you before you reach the safe house? Find out in 'On The Run.'

Once I looked up everything was going to change. I wasn't ready, my god why does this have to happen to me. I felt his warm fingertips on the bottom of my chin. It sent shivers into my spine. I wanted more, I wanted more of his touch. It's like my body needed it. I wanted to throw my hand around him. He lifted my chin up slowly, and everything paused. I saw his beautiful honey eyes. "Mate" Kat said in my head. It was like I was staring into his soul. We were so close I could hear him breathing. His steady breathing was the best music I could hear. He nearly stopped my breath, it felt like I was floating. His honey eyes were staring into mine he looked mesmerized. He took his hand off my chin and softly grabbed my hand. He pulled it up to his mouth and said "I believe you're my Queen." He said in a deep enriching voice. Then he kissed my hand with his soft lips.

From the most notable vampire, Dracula, to the least favorite vampire, Edward Cullen. Over the years they've changed and adopted to meld with culture of modern society. I've read almost every vampire book, seen the movies and watched the television shows. They all have a similar underlying theme among all of them. Girl crosses path with hot vampire guy, the hot vampire guy is some eternal brooding guy and then they fall in love. Sometimes they have to face some epic fight or battle of sorts, but end the end it's a love story between human girl and vampire guy. I wish I could say my story started in 2016 when that fantasy world became a reality. A strange man came into a convenience store I worked at and my whole world instantly changed. I was thrown into a world of blood, politics and learned the hard way that vampires are NOTHING like what they are depicted as in works of fiction. But my story started a few years prior, in 2013 and I was blissfully ignorant of what took place around me. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the 2nd book in my vampire book series.
