Ranger's Apprentice - Rescue

40 parts Complete

When Ranger apprentice Will is sent on his first solo mission to rescue an unnamed scholar as part of his fifth year training, he feels completely prepared. After helping defeat a warlord, surviving slavery in Skandia, and making it through countless other life-threatening missions, what could he possibly be unprepared for? But when the scholar he was sent to rescue turns out to be none other than George Carter, his childhood ward mate, Will finds himself stunned just long enough to get himself captured. Now without his beloved horse, Tug, and in the hands of numerous enemies, Will must once again rely on his mentor Halt's undying determination to come to his aid. Will Halt get there in time? And what was George doing that got him into so much trouble? Is there something larger at play than any of them knew?
