Promise (Daryl Dixon x OC)

Charlie Lottie had a bad rep. She was known a punk criminal. She did petty theft, though at one point did rob a convenience store. So when shit hits the fan, she uses her natural instincts of the street and gets out of the city, befriending a dog she calls Anubis as she escapes. Along the way, she meets an old enemy. Shane Walsh. He hates her, yet lusts after her, while she hates him. Hmm, wonder why?
She meets Daryl and Merle Dixon, and the brothers kind of adopt Charlie into their family of two. But, she doesn't want to get to close on account of everyone close to her leaving her. She has a rough past, and Daryl understands that, and grows protective of the girl. When Merle is left for dead, Daryl worries about Charlie because she doesn't take it well.
