Marinette plays violin, but before she played the violin, she played the piano. What made her change her mind and switch to the violin? It was because of a young boy named Adrien. He played the piano and she one day wanted to play with him. So she switched from piano to violin. Ten years later she meets Adrien in school. But he no longer plays for the fear of not being able to hear what he was playing.
OK so this is basically following the story line from the anime 'Your Lie in April', just with a few changes. If you haven't watched it you probably should. It is PG, for language. (A/N: This is essentially going to be a process of fixing + improving Lean on Us, a pre-existing fic on my page, as I'm not too happy with how it came out as the years go by. As this happens, (Y/N) transfers into Marinette's class upon being adopted by their uncle due to the sudden death of their parents. (Y/N) is still moving on and dealing with the repercussions of their mother and father's passing when Juleka introduces (Y/N) to Luka at their band rehearsal. They form a strong bond and become fast friends- and quickly become something more- but how much more can they be in the chaos of suddenly becoming a hero on top of that? Adrien was a good boyfriend. He listened to what Marinette said about Luka and tried his best to keep his distance, ignoring what was becoming a wonderful friendship.
