Beginnings are full of hope. This story is an exception. Because the beginning of it is a sad one. It's the ending, however, that makes this story worthwhile. It's been several years since these events occurred and I have spent the majority of that time contemplating how best to share this story. Why? Because stories are important and everyone has one. After dropping out of university and having a one night stand that went nowhere, April turned into the girl she is now-lifeless, angry and unhappy with her life. It's a story about recovering from depression. My journey to stay happy after a long couple years. I write mostly poetry. This book is not just about me but the life that I lived and the things that I've seen and done it was never about making sure I was the greatest, I want the story to be told from my own perspective, my own opinion, and most likely to give advice to others I want my book to bring courage to those that have been through the same thing as me or sort of went through the same thing as me growing up I'm not proud for some of the decisions I have made nor do I regret some of them life is about living and learning loving and staying humble but this story is just the beginning and I don't think there will ever be an end but for now this is who I am and this is all I am.
