When the Dolan twins move to Los Angeles with their dying father, they attend a new school at the beginning of junior year.

Grayson is loving and sweet towards people he meets, he wants to help and care for his father in his last few months before he dies and leaves him and his twin brother to live on their own.

Ethan is the complete opposite, his anger issues overpower him making him come across as a heartless monster, when in reality he's just looking for someone to help him escape from the dark hole he has dug himself.

When he meets a girl who actually seems to have interest in him and shows him that she cares about him, he finally breaks down his stone cold wall to let her in.
