Tainted- affect with a bad or undesirable quality. My past is tainted along with my present, My future is tainted me forever a peasant. But worst and most morbidly and treacherous of all, My love is tainted and that will be my final fall. Kira's tainted and undesirable past has damned her future to the depths of fear and hiding. Death follows her around like a stench and seems to consume all of those who she holds too closely, forcing her to keep a safe distance from all around her but her family who is in just as deep as she is. Jesse's tainted and undesirable past has done the exact same thing. His past made protection and care blossom in his chest for anyone who may cross his path. Especially when the new girl and her brother who have a knack for lying begin to catch his attention and his perceptive eyes begin to catch onto their deadly secrets. The second I saw her my skin heated and heart skipped a beat. I knew I had to know who she was. I knew I just needed to be near her.
