Kale used to dream of a normal life, with love and happiness. Too bad that only happens in Fairy Tales. Her (step) father is not only a drunk...but very abusive as well. She has mood disorders, trust issues, and major self-esteem issues. Her abused past has made her this way.

Luckily, one night a random boy named Matt miraculously got her away from her step dad-he saved her.

She's terrified of him, because he's got that bad boy look, and that bad boy appeal...but he did rescue her...and he is-in fact- the most gorgeous person she's ever seen.
