Keith Kogane has been shuttled from foster home to foster home ever since he was little. Every town has been easily forgettable, nothing special. But that's until he starts going to Garrison High. Keith becomes the head snare, and the band becomes his life. Everything is going smoothly, until someone screwed it up. Keith is taking none of this guy's nonsense. Who does he think he is?!?
Lance McClain is in the color guard, and usually he's good at what he does. But that lasts until a certain mullet catches his eye.  He keeps trying to get a better look at the violet eyed beauty, until he hits him with his flag. Whoops.
Lance and Keith have gotten off to a rocky start, but with the times they have coming ahead, they will have to learn to put their differences aside and become friends.
Maybe even more than friends.

Sometimes people are a lot different then you think. The first minute Lance steps into his new school he's warned about Keith Kogane. They say he's like the devil, the meanest guy you will ever meet. You better stay away from him otherwise you could get on his bad side, and then your life is over. Lance isn't the guy to judge people just because people talk about that person. But they seem to be right, as a moment later Keith throws a freshman on the ground for speaking to him. That is a sign for Lance to never even look at this guy. But that isn't that easy as it sounds, cause even if he is a bully he is kind of good looking. Wait good looking? he's a guy! Mami always warned him to never hang out with bad people.
